International Paper Andhra Paper Limited Limited has been doing the farm forestry program for more than two decades by distributing quality saplings and raising pulpwood plantations in all the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. It is estimated that IPAndhra Paper Limited has generated 10 million ton of pulpwood and Poles, 1.5 million ton of fuel wood and around 0.24 million ton of fodder in the local villages of all the coastal district of Andhra Pradesh till 2014.
While pulpwood and Poles bring them the livelihood and improved socio-economic status, fuel and fodder generation from the same program as bi-product reduces the pressure on the Natural Forest.
IPAndhra Paper Limited has achieved distribution of quality casuarina sapling to the tune of around 23 crore during 2014.
